Default [GET] Email Extractor 1.0 by spiTe - Works With GMail

    FOR MY 200th POST!

After posting a few ads on craigslist to my catchall "allaccounts@" i realized, i wouldnt be able to email them back from that email... so i whipped up a lil email extractor...

Sorry but i was unable to add in body support, it saved all the html garbage and what not...

    how to use:

select which elements of the email you'd like to save "TO, FROM, SUBJECT, DATE"

set a separator example: " ; " that way you can import to excel

if you're using a domain with google apps for an email make sure to put:

    username@domain.com for the username!
    your password for the password!

its already set up to pop.gmail.com : 995 but you can change that if your server is something else...

ALSO gmail requires a secure connection, which is checked at default, if your email does not require a secure connection UNCHECK the box...

when i have more time ill be looking for a different pop library to save messages as plain text ;x

    hope you all like it...

why? what did you not do lol... if you're using gmail, you have todo username@gmail.com

its just like setting up outlook/thunderbird...

    make sure to check the checkboxes of the fields you want to save, also make sure to add a separator for example a SEMICOLON ;

to the other post, you can extract emails from any domain... as long as pop3 is setup

    This app works.
This guy deserves REP for giving away his work for free.
He can sell this app, but he prefer to give back to the community.
    +rep
    +thanks

NOTE: use it as he has described, and WAIT BEFORE the app finish.
U will find a .txt in the folder

Ok I seem to have it working..... Kind of! I ran it and it pulled all the messages in the account. The I tried it again with just the FROM checked and it processed only one and the file is actually blank. I then tried it again with them all checked and same thing, just one and a blank file.

    Please help

You should wait . You may think it's not responding but actually it's pulling email out of your email
